Raptors vs. Clippers: how the comeback happened
The Clippers controlled the first three quarters. They led 33-22 after one and carried a 91-78 lead into the fourth, according to the CBS Sports box score.
Then Toronto’s offense took off. The Raptors outscored Los Angeles 47-27 in the fourth quarter, with Barnes doing most of the damage late. Both teams were on the second night of a back-to-back. The Clippers had lost 124-112 at Golden State on Sunday, and the Raptors had fallen 131-125 to the Lakers.

No Kawhi Leonard homecoming yet
The matchup lost some of its intrigue because Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard was out with a left knee injury, delaying his return to Southern California, the AP reported. Leonard spent the previous seven seasons with the Clippers.
His tenure ended after the Clippers were ordered to forfeit five first-round draft picks and fined $30 million for circumventing salary cap rules over how Leonard was paid, and team owner Steve Ballmer was suspended for one year, according to the AP. Leonard was traded back to Toronto in September for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a pick swap. The deal was first agreed to in July but was delayed pending the NBA’s investigation.
Clippers’ skid hits six
Los Angeles is 1-6 and has dropped six straight since winning its opener against Sacramento on Oct. 21. Coach Tyronn Lue was on the bench despite an illness that kept him from his pregame news conference, per the AP.
