SEAL Team wrapped up its seven-season run in 2024, but it is still pulling in a big streaming audience. In Nielsen’s new monthly ranking of streaming originals for September 2026, the David Boreanaz military drama placed seventh with about 2.2 billion minutes viewed across Paramount+ and Netflix, according to ComingSoon and Collider.

SEAL Team viewership in September 2026

ComingSoon said Nielsen tracked viewers ages 2 and older from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30. The top of the originals chart looked like this:

  1. Reacher (Prime Video): 4.6 billion minutes
  2. Ted Lasso (Apple TV): 3.6 billion
  3. Neagley (Prime Video): 3.3 billion
  4. Lioness (Paramount+): 3.3 billion
  5. Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story (Netflix): 3.1 billion
  6. The Gentlemen (Netflix): 2.8 billion
  7. SEAL Team (Paramount+/Netflix): 2.2 billion
  8. Beauty in Black (Netflix): 1.9 billion
  9. Outer Banks (Netflix): 1.7 billion
  10. Silo (Apple TV): 1.4 billion

SEAL Team’s total combines viewing on both services. That means it did better than new seasons of shows like Outer Banks and Silo, even though it has had no new episodes in two years.

Why SEAL Team is streaming again

CBR reported that all seven seasons came to Netflix in August, giving the show a large new audience on top of its Paramount+ home. Earlier in September, it ranked No. 5 among originals in Nielsen’s weekly chart for Sept. 7-13, with 586 million minutes viewed, CBR said. Collider noted that the show’s audience appears to keep growing as new viewers discover it.

SEAL Team on Paramount+: a quick history

SEAL Team premiered on CBS in 2017. After four episodes of Season 5 aired on CBS in 2021, the series moved to Paramount+, which renewed it for a sixth and then a seventh and final season, CBR reported. The show ended in 2024 after 114 episodes. A stand-alone movie was considered at one point, but Paramount+ chose a final season instead.

Boreanaz, who led the cast as Jason Hayes, is set to star in an upcoming Rockford Files reboot, according to CBR.
